I had the dining experience of a lifetime here. Thanks to Carl and Chef Aaron. The evening started with a delightful absinthe cocktail, and the eggplant salad. My gal pal and I were truly dining like aristocrats. She had the blackened chicken and I the elk strip, both phenomenal and truly divine. Every hunger satiated. A tour of the levels was even offered to us. Carl's experience is clear and he guides the courses in such a pleasant way. Dare I say it was a dance. I'll be eating here again tonight. The best spot to be in Whitefish. Worth every penny. Left the spot in awe of the food, friends, and laughter shared. Cheers to more years
Fantastic food !
Amazing food and excellent staff
Decided to check out the speakeasy in the basement. Very quiet, a little chilly, but expected for an underground location. Some great cocktails! We loved the Jenny's martini, though if you don't like spicy I would recommend staying away from it! The food was delicious, we loved the mushrooms!
We had a wonderful meal. Our waiter was awesome.
Unique ....hope they make it
This place is magic. The food is incredible you can taste the love and effort that goes into each dish. We live about an hour away from Big Fork, and still find time to come here at least few times a month if I actually lived in Big Fork, my visits would pay their rent.
The restaurant itself is beautiful, and the staff are always super awesome. They just built a speakeasy style bar which I havent been to yet! I cant wait for our next little mini vaca.
Theyre doin stuff real good over there
Recommend the deconstructed bison Wellington. If you order the elk, get it rare since its a leaner meat. Both were delicious and good drink pairing recommendations.
Happy birthday to me! This is a favorite place of my parents and I to go to in the beautiful town of Bigfork, Montana. The food here is fabulous. This restaurant has history. It was an old bank so the characteristics are unique and beautiful. Do not forget to check out the downstairs.
Amazing food, compliments to the chef! The wait staff is totally awesome and very tentative. So personal you feel like you're their only table!
Always excellent. Last time my sister and husband were in town we brought them and my mom. Everyone loved it and the food was wonderful.
Our family was en route to Whitefish and stumbled upon ShowThyme as we came through BigFork from Jackson Hole, another resort community. We know good food and service and this restaurant and staff definitely met our hopes for a yummy dinner experience! We shared bites of each others Buffalo Wellington, halibut special, and black garlic chicken. We were each impressed and couldnt even pick a fav! Gene gave us remarkably great service and paid special presentation to even how the plate was turned in front of me. We definitely appreciate the attention to detail! The food was outstanding!!
Absolutely amazing food and great service
A must the wild mushrooms And lobster bisque
Had a wonderful dinner with my husband last Saturday night. Bringing friends and going again this Saturday! Great food, wine, and service!
Great food love the shrimp and grits and lobster bisque. Great kids menu as well.
Great service, great atmosphere, terrific food and wine! Highly recommend.
Another amazing dinner last night …Thank you Aaron and your whole crew !!!From the mushroom appetizer ,to the skillet brownie desert, and the entrees in between ..everything fantastic…..!!
Been eating here since 1996. Always consistent. Always know I will have a fabulous meal. Good value for the food. You can just feel the love oozing from the entre. Best to eat early or late in the summer if you don't want to wait. Reservations a must.
Some of the best elk I've ever had! Amazing!
I loved this place. The food was amazing and I would go back again any day! The elk was out of this world, and the caramel ice cream cake was seriously awesome!!
We have always enjoyed any one of the finest meals on the menu, top notch great atmosphere and the best service you will find anywhere! Homemade bread loaves are also available from the chef daily, I would highly recommend this restaurant. J
Showthyme is casual, yet elegant, the menu varied from seafood to steak, duck, tofu and more. I have always found the food to be perfectly prepared, very flavorful, and beautifully presented. From the warm greeting at the door to the excellent service at your table, you won't be disappointed. In addition, they offer a very nice wine selection and a full bar for your mixed drinks. I have eaten there many times and highly recommend Showthyme for your dining experience.
My favorites are the fresh loon salad topped with pieces of watermelon and blue cheese, thick filet topped with filet butter and served with perfectly cooked vegetables and potatoes, and either a sticky toffee pudding for dessert or one of the homemade ice creams.
Favorite place to eat in Bigfork but they can screw up reservations so watch out if you're counting on eating there.
Thank you for a wonderful evening... The lamb shank with horseradish mashers was perfect! Bravo!
Food was great (had the 3 course meal), location was great, wine was good, and service was excellent! Decor is a bit dated, but not bad. We had a great evening!
First time customer and it was a great experience. Just decided to drop by and was told it would be about 1/2 hour wait. No problem as we didn't have reservations (I would suggest you do so as this place was busy!).
We had the Steak off the specials list and the big shrimp dinner. Both were excellent. Cooked exactly how I asked for. The asparagus and other veggies were cooked perfectly. As good as the meal was, the desserts were crazy good too. Don't ask me to pronounce them but they were good. The salted caramel something was great and the chocolate cake was like an extremely good fudge. The place isn't cheap but the menu seems to be priced very reasonable for the quality of food. The staff was very nice and friendly. Our waiter was great. And while my meal was excellent I kept seeing other meals being delivered and thinking maybe I should have ordered those because they looked great as well. Especially the salmon and the lamb shank. Those really caught my eye. Great experience overall. I'll definitely be back.
We a party of three enjoyed dinner at ShowThyme, excellent service & quality, nicely prepared dishes, I had the Seabass, I would highly recommend ShowThyme. Thanks to:CRS a local legendary fishing & hunting guide for sharing a meal with us and making our reservation. Great call!
Their food is great and it's especially fun to grab some dessert and coffee after a date or show
Very good desserts and entree's!!!!!
Great everything from soup to dessert.
ShowThyme is "electric" with flavor. Descriptions do not do justice to the creative flavors and presentation of local flavors.
Just took my hubby here for his birthday. The food was delicious. I am glad we booked ahead of time as it was busy.
Loved the flavors of the food and the friendly service. I am now dreaming of planning another vacation with Enjoy Montana, so I can return to this delightful restaurant.
Amazing food, Prime rib was great!
Showtime is an upscale restaurant in downtown Bigfork that sits right next to the Big Fork Theatre it appeared as if Showtime was no longer in business for a while but more recently is opened I don't know if that means that it has seasonal hours or what the story is but the menu appears to be much more upscale and could be a nice place for a date or after theater or before theater dinner
Romantic Rustic Restaurant with an elegant menu crafted by Chef Aaron. Bon appetite!
The food was 5Star The deserts were outstanding. 5star atmosphere for dining with friends.
Great, proper 3-5 course death by food, plan on $60 per inclusive.
My husband and I quite enjoyed our visit to ShowThyme. The ambiance was cozy and welcoming. The food was very satisfying and plated beautifully. We will visit again!
We had a birthday gathering for 18 people, the service and the food was excellent. Whenever we are in the Bigfork area this is the one restaurant that we always eat at. Consistently great food, with enough variety to satisfy anyone in a group. Staff is friendly and helpful. Atmosphere is comfortable and relaxed. Thanks again Showthyme ActII
I had a wild mushroom appetizer and an elk filet dish. I think it may be the best meal I have ever had. Incredible flavor! What an amazing chef!
Great food, good choices, wonderful owners.
it has been awhile since we were last here. food is always very good. prices have increased but I recall commenting that their prices were very reasonable when we were last here. must have listened to me:)
Had a bad experience going on Valentine's day the wait was ridiculous long. The prices were high but the food was worth it. Would try again but not on a holiday.
Incredibly friendly owners and staff! We love the consistency and quality of every dish! Try the bread pudding, you wont regret it!
Good food and fun atmosphere. Looks like a fun place to hear some music too. Southwest burger was great, nice big chunks of green chillies
This restaurant is fabulous! Excellent service and the food is amazing. Best restaurant in town. Bread pudding is a must to try!
OMG!!! Run, don't walk to Show Thyme in Big Fork, MT!! The food was amazing and something to dream about until we visit again. Brought tears to my eyes in sheer pleasure and that was just the appetizers. The mushrooms were ethereal and transporting...
We had such a wonderful time at ShowThyme. You could tell this wasn't just a job, this was a passion for everyone we meet that night. The food was fabulous, beautiful old building with lots of history and the service was best in town! Get the bread pudding. Not normally bread pudding fans, we were shocked at how delicious it was and it has a beautiful backstory too! You won't regret your choice of dining at ShowThyme!
I've reviewed this restaurant before. Once again it remains my favorite restaurant in Bigfork. I ate there two times in three days. They now have prime rib every night. It is excellent and it is a great addition to an already fabulous menu. The second night I had the shrimp with grits which is still my favorite item. It has eight shrimp and an out of this world Creole sauce. The foraged mushrooms and lobster bisque are the two best appetizers. Aaron and Jenny have a winner. I can't wait to come back for the holidays.
A delightful evening was had by all here. Everything was top notch from the drinks to the food to the ambiance. The food is excellent and reasonably priced. The chef knows his stuff and we were so honored to be able to enjoy it during these COVID times. Support restaurants like these while they are still around!!
It was very, very, good and the service was out standing. I had a hard time choosing between what meal I would like to order.
What a wonderful meal! Our first visit of what will be many. Excellent food and service.
Been here a few times already, and it's been just fantastic food every time! And the Mushrooms are a must when you vist!
Such and amazing and awesome restaurant!! The chef makes some fondue for food!! Love this place definitely will be back!!
Friendly staff, awesome food....great experience all around.
Incredible Food! Tastes amazing and service was top notch!
I have eaten at some of the finest restaurants in New York City, Montreal, San Francisco and New Orleans. Showthyme Act II is as good or better than any meal I have had in any of the renowned restaurants in those cities. If you are anywhere near Bigfork you need to enjoy their amazing food. I had the Elk my 1st night and cannot wait to try everything else on the menu! Outstanding food and great service! Can't wait to get back! PTE
Very good food. My husband had the Elk. Outstanding! I had the prime rib, it was great. My daughter-in law and her grandmother had the chicken. A must for me next time we are there. My son had the veal. It was delicious. Love the atmosphere. Service was great. Nice to have a restaurant I could take my grandchildren to with menu items they like and without breaking the bank. Chef does a great job with the wine parings. Can't wait to eat there again next year. Oh I forgot the beet salad with goat cheese and asparagus. Yum!
I thought our dinner tonight was absolutely delicious! They were basically empty on a Saturday night, so I would encourage locals to support this great local asset!--M.R.
I don't give out 5 stars, but this was amazing. Start with a fabulous cocktail. I'd recommend you start with the "Thyme after Time" cocktail with whiskey and candied lemon. Then you must have the Blackened Jamaican En Salad. It is a life changing dish. Don't think you should grill lettuce? You're wrong. Finish off with the Act II, local gin with just the right amount of sweet.
You won't regret this evening.
Also they have very clear Gluten Free options (lots of them) clearly marked on the menu.--Nikollas A.
This is a welcome addition to downtown Bigfork that provides gourmet quality food at reasonable prices. A true gem with great options for anytime of year but I like it best in the offseason when it's not crowded. The owners are kind considerate and put their heart into everything that hits your table. Ask for the black garlic and it will change your life forever. The garlic chicken was amazing as is the salmon. I need to go back ... would now if I could.--Dan C.
Act 1 was good and Act II may be even better. Just heard about Act II being open so I had to give it a try. Went in for lunch and it had a very warm and friendly atmosphere. The staff and the owners are very friendly and I welcome them to Bigfork. The prices are a bit lower than before but the taste didn't disappoint at all. We had the regular and the chipotle philly cheese steaks. Both of us were very happy with our choices. The combination of the peppers, mushrooms, cheese sauce and the steak just melted in your mouth. They were served in generous portions on some very fresh rolls. I will be back for lunch again. We also got a peek at their dinner menu and I look forward to checking that out as well. The Salmon and the Elk both caught my eye for my next visit.--Monty A.
What a fantastic re- opening of my favorite restaurant in Bigfork! I've been here for dinner and lunch.
The lobster bisque is superb with nice chunks of tender lobster. Not too much brandy which can easily overpower this dish. The garlic chicken entree was deeelicious! My wife had the prime rib which was cooked to perfection.
For lunch you can't beat the Philly Cheese steak. The chef is from Pennsylvania so he knows this classic. It's made with prime rib and I commented to him that the meat is too good for this sandwich. Perhaps a little gristle would help? The only criticism I have is that a slightly more substantial roll would prevent the "unhinging" of my sandwich that occurred halfway through my consumption.
The prices are also very reasonable with dinner entrees between $15-20.--Andrew P.
