Incredible Food! Tastes amazing and service was top notch!
I have eaten at some of the finest restaurants in New York City, Montreal, San Francisco and New Orleans. Showthyme Act II is as good or better than any meal I have had in any of the renowned restaurants in those cities. If you are anywhere near Bigfork you need to enjoy their amazing food. I had the Elk my 1st night and cannot wait to try everything else on the menu! Outstanding food and great service! Can't wait to get back! PTE
Very good food. My husband had the Elk. Outstanding! I had the prime rib, it was great. My daughter-in law and her grandmother had the chicken. A must for me next time we are there. My son had the veal. It was delicious. Love the atmosphere. Service was great. Nice to have a restaurant I could take my grandchildren to with menu items they like and without breaking the bank. Chef does a great job with the wine parings. Can't wait to eat there again next year. Oh I forgot the beet salad with goat cheese and asparagus. Yum!
I thought our dinner tonight was absolutely delicious! They were basically empty on a Saturday night, so I would encourage locals to support this great local asset!--M.R.
I don't give out 5 stars, but this was amazing. Start with a fabulous cocktail. I'd recommend you start with the "Thyme after Time" cocktail with whiskey and candied lemon. Then you must have the Blackened Jamaican En Salad. It is a life changing dish. Don't think you should grill lettuce? You're wrong. Finish off with the Act II, local gin with just the right amount of sweet.
You won't regret this evening.
Also they have very clear Gluten Free options (lots of them) clearly marked on the menu.--Nikollas A.
This is a welcome addition to downtown Bigfork that provides gourmet quality food at reasonable prices. A true gem with great options for anytime of year but I like it best in the offseason when it's not crowded. The owners are kind considerate and put their heart into everything that hits your table. Ask for the black garlic and it will change your life forever. The garlic chicken was amazing as is the salmon. I need to go back ... would now if I could.--Dan C.
Act 1 was good and Act II may be even better. Just heard about Act II being open so I had to give it a try. Went in for lunch and it had a very warm and friendly atmosphere. The staff and the owners are very friendly and I welcome them to Bigfork. The prices are a bit lower than before but the taste didn't disappoint at all. We had the regular and the chipotle philly cheese steaks. Both of us were very happy with our choices. The combination of the peppers, mushrooms, cheese sauce and the steak just melted in your mouth. They were served in generous portions on some very fresh rolls. I will be back for lunch again. We also got a peek at their dinner menu and I look forward to checking that out as well. The Salmon and the Elk both caught my eye for my next visit.--Monty A.
What a fantastic re- opening of my favorite restaurant in Bigfork! I've been here for dinner and lunch.
The lobster bisque is superb with nice chunks of tender lobster. Not too much brandy which can easily overpower this dish. The garlic chicken entree was deeelicious! My wife had the prime rib which was cooked to perfection.
For lunch you can't beat the Philly Cheese steak. The chef is from Pennsylvania so he knows this classic. It's made with prime rib and I commented to him that the meat is too good for this sandwich. Perhaps a little gristle would help? The only criticism I have is that a slightly more substantial roll would prevent the "unhinging" of my sandwich that occurred halfway through my consumption.
The prices are also very reasonable with dinner entrees between $15-20.--Andrew P.
